Many of you know that Mobile World Congress has come and gone. During the event a number of device manufacturers announced their line of phones and other goodies. We know Samsung has the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. HTC showed off the new One M9. While those are certainly the two that took top priority, others, like Acer, announced some entry-level devices carrying their Liquid branding, the Z220,  Z520 and Jade Z. They aren’t power house devices, but they should get the job done for some people. They also announced the Chromebox CXI line that brings a Core i3 4030U processor. It would seem Acer didn’t put all their eggs in one basket though as they have a separate press event lined up for April 23rd in New York.
I haven’t seen any rumors or talks about what Acer could be bringing to the table come April, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a new Iconia tablet line and a new set of Chromebooks. It would be nice to see a mid-tier to high-end Android phone of some sorts that comes in at solid unlocked price tag, but that is just wishful thinking on my part. A new tablet of sorts seems likely. The last Iconia launched was a dual-SIM 4G LTE 7-inch Iconia Talk S tablet.
It is anyone’s guess at this point. I will keep my eyes peeled for information leading up to the event as well as what the event tosses out there for consumers.
