The sports enthusiasts out there love to show their team colors in a variety of ways. Be it window stickers, flags, banners, face paint or jerseys. Many will change their wallpapers on their phone, tablet and PC to show their team spirit. If you happen to be rocking SwiftKey on your device though, now you can pick up a keyboard theme to really show off your team for every Google+, Twitter and Facebook update.
Currently the SwiftKey team has a total of nine team themes ready to go in the Basketball Fever collection: Kentucky, Virginia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Texas A&M, Iowa, Notre Dame, Florida and Ohio State. A basketball pops up on the letters you are tapping to give you the placebo effect of dribbling down the court while you type. The keyboard backgrounds look like basketball courts and the swiping flow color is coordinated to match. SwiftKey might add in other teams in the future, but they didn’t lead on to as which ones or if they really would or not.
They are also doing a side “bracket” challenge to see which of the nine schools they currently have available takes the top spot for installs. According to them, Kentucky is in the lead. I expect that to change rather quickly. Come on Notre Dame!! I kid, I am not much a sorts fan.
