Acer has been hard at work on the Liquid Metal smartphone and their line of Android tablets. The image above is the Acer Liquid Metal that last we heard would be launching sometime in October, but it could be pushed back to November since the news has been kind of quiet.
Rumored features of the Acer Liquid Metal include:
- Android 2.2 (Froyo)
- 3.6-inch WVGAÂ touchscreen display
- 800MHz processor (Qualcomm MSM 7230?)
The image below is an Android tablet seen in the wild. Back in August we learned that Acer has their sights set on 3 tablets running Gingerbread and we can see that this tablet below is running Android 2.2 by the looks of the launcher. Specs for the tablet below and future tablets remain unknown, but that should change as the holidays get closer.
