LG Optimus Vu re-branded as the LG Intuition for Verizon, $199.99 on Contract

For the few of you who are interested, it looks like the LG Optimus Vu is definitely headed to Verizon soon. AS with most devices though, the name will be changed to the LG Intuition. Sounds a bit womanly if you ask me. Who am I kidding though, I own a Vibrant. According to a source for Droid-Life, the LG Intuition will be announced officially in the coming weeks for Verizon Wireless. It will hit stores and online for $199.99 on a new two-year contract with no mail-in rebate needed.

The Intuition will, of course, be a 4G LTE device too. The Intuition should be spec’d according to the Vu which is a 4:3 aspect ratio 1024 x 768 5-ich display, a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm S4 processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8MP camera, 32GB internal storage and Ice Cream Sandwich Android OS.

since Verizon skipped out on the Samsung Galaxy Note, this will be their first heavy hitting screen sized device. We think they might have been better off holding out a bit longer and pulling the Note 2 over instead, but we will wait and see how this launch does for good old Big Red. Judging from the lack of excitement from the previous information about the device headed stateside though, we aren’t to sure it will do all that great.
