With top Android tablets hitting the market soon, it looks like Acer is now planning on launching three tablets running Android 3.0. The tablets will come in various form factors:
- 5-inch screen
- 7-inch screen
- 10-inch screen
The 5-inch tablet is rumored to be a tablet/phone like that of the Dell Streak. Acer is currently trying to decide what processor these devices will have: Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor or NVIDIA’s Tegra 2. Acer devices have been pretty good with pricing in the past so there’s a good chance these tablets will be budget friendly. The only information we have so far is a Q1 time frame, but Acer is set to launch their x86 with Intel processor and Windows 7 tablet before these Android tablets are set to arrive.
