After the original Nexus 7 received in update to Android 5.0.2, we were left wondering whether any other devices would be updated to the elusive software version, or indeed, what it actually fixed. Google has today released more Android 5.0.2 factory images for the 2013 Nexus 7 Wi-Fi and Nexus 10 which leaves the Nexus 9 Wi-Fi as the only other non-cellular Nexus device without the latest version. And of course, we still have very little idea what the update fixes, but we’re sure it’s good.
Of course, if you’re game and want the latest stuff on your devices as soon as possible, you can download the factory images from the Google Developers website now. But remember that installing the image isn’t a trivial task for someone not familiar with the process, so make sure to look up a good guide to make sure you don’t end up making your Nexus 7 or Nexus 10 into a brick.
