LG seems to be doing their best to keep their current, and past, devices updated. Especially on AT&T. The Now Network has pushed out the Lollipop update for the LG G3, while not everyone has it yet, it is out there. Today they are beginning the update process for the flagships predecessor, the LG G2. The update officially comes in with Android 5.0.2 Lollipop and weighs in at 725MB’s Making it one of the smaller Lollipop updates I have personally seen so far.
You will get all the awesomeness that is Lollipop like the lock screen notifications, bolder colors and fluid animations. It will also remove the browser bar and Famigo along with the AT&T Code Scanner and Beats Music. Current stock LG G2 owners will need to make sure they have well over 50% battery life, a solid Wi-Fi connection and some time to kill for the file to download and the update to complete. To check for it you will want to head to All Settings > General > About phone > Software update > Update now.
