Android Ad Impressions Match iOS in Latest Mobile Mix Report

As you can see in the chart above, the Android OS is constantly growing and gaining ad impressions with an 8% jump to match iOS as the top mobile phone OS. With Android and iOS equally sharing 74% of the pie we’re curious to see the post-holiday results with consumer spending on the rise.

Other highlights of Millennial Mobile’s Mobile Mix report, you can see the rankings below showing that while the Apple iPhone resided at the number 1 spot on the list, Android powered handsets are scattered throughout and shows 12 total Android handsets, with 4 of them being DROID branded. We should also point out that the HTC Dream G1 is still a top seller coming in at number 21.

With these numbers coming in, we’re eager to see what these charts show next year and where Android will be compared to iOS, Symbian and RIM. We’re also curious to see how the new Windows Phone 7 OS ranks among the pack after it really gets going. Be sure and hit up the original report here and feel free to leave your comments below.
