Today Google’s developer site released the latest report on Android fragmentation. Things are looking really good as far as phones getting up graded to 2.1 as well as new phones in general being released with 2.1. They are not showing data for 2.2 on their chart but were guessing that is because the 2.2 everybody is running on their Nexus is early. Also, we can thank the 3rd party developers for their ROMs that help push us up into the 2.1 range of Android. Over the summer and the rest of 2010 this chart will only change for the better.
