Great news for the Android community today. Canada’s first Android conference, AndroidTO, will be happening this fall in Toronto, Ontario.
The AndroidTO conference will feature a series of lectures addressing key issues that Android developers face, as well as workshops focused at helping beginners get up and running with developing for the Android platform.
In addition, we will be featuring segments on cross-platform issues – how to develop efficiently for Android while considering other popular mobile platforms (iPhone, Blackberry).
Planning is still in the very early stages, but we do know registration opens Sunday, August 1st, and the conference takes place Tuesday, October 26. We’ll keep you posted with more details once they become available, and you can follow @AndroidTO on Twitter as well.
A special note to any Americans that plan on attending, start preparing now so you don’t get left at the border.
