Apple is never happy, wants another $707 million and most Samsung devices in the U.S. Banned

You all remember how Apple won the Apple vs Samsung Case? I am sure you remember the $1.05 billion that Apple was awarded for infringements and damages right? Well, that isn’t enough and Apple wants more money and more proposed bans on Samsung devices here in the states. The proposed price tag of $707 million more is for additional damages for Samsung infringing on Apples so-called design.

The $707 breaks down to $400 for damages for design infringement, $135 for willful infringement of its unity patents, $121 in supplemental damages not covered in the first win, and $50 for prejudgment interest through December 31st.

“any of the infringing products or any other product with a feature or features not more than colorably different from any of the infringing feature or features in any of the Infringing Products.”

Apple is out for the jugular. The new filing also proposes the ban of a large majority of Samsung devices being sold here in the U.S., which is said to also include the recently released Galaxy S III. So if you want to get your hands on an S III, you might want to do it soon. It is theoretically possible that Apple could get it pulled. Hopefully not though.

The battle will never end between these two guys.
