The specs have been posted, and the pricing has been announced,…. When can I buy it?!?!
ASUS now has an answer for that very question. The Eee Pad MeMO in all it’s Flyer stomping glory will be available for sale in Q3 2011. We discussed earlier that this new tablet is more than adequate competition for HTC‘s upcoming Flyer. The Flyer is gonna need more than Gingerbread, a magic pen, and Sense to compete with Honeycomb, another magic pen, and cheaper pricing. HTC better drink lots of Redbull, the Flyer needs bigger wings.
ASUS Eee Pad MeMO
The Eee Pad MeMO provides the ultimate in mobile flexibility. Its 7â€
capacitive touch-screen makes it small enough to slip into a jacket
pocket, yet still perfect for taking handwritten notes using the
supplied stylus pen. The Android® 3.0 HoneyComb operating
system with Qualcomm®’s dual-core Snapdragonâ„¢ offers a wide
range of productivity and entertainment software, while a Micro
HDMI port means the MeMO can even connect to an external
display for full 1080p HD video playback. Built-in digital cameras on
the front (1.2MP) and rear (5MP) of the MeMO also allow for easy
video chat and digital photography, making it a convenient travel
companion.
