ASUS has jumped the gun on the release of the source code for one of their newest tablets, the Transformer. This tablet was essentially a dark horse in lost in the announcements of others featuring 3D cameras, stylus type implementations, and availability. The Transformer has yet to hit stores or even get a release date however the source code has already been released. With the recent with-holdings by HTC of the source codes for the Thunderbolt and Incredible S it seems that ASUS is openly supporting the development community, while also sitting a standard for future devices.
