The HTC Vivid just got its icy taste of Android 4.0 officially today and it looks like AT&T is finally stepping up to the game with an ICS list of devices. While most of the devices are ones that we have already had confirmation from manufacturers on, it is nice to see AT&T admitting they will actually be updating them. I do have to admit though, there were a couple of devices that surprised me. For instance the latest releases from Pantech, the Burst and the Element. One is a tablet and one is a phone. I did not expect either of those to make the move to ICS at all. It is still great news to see a carrier drop a list that we can hopefully hold them too. Of course this is just what “they say” and we have all been let down in the past by our carriers for one reason or another. Lets hope we can get at least an 80% success rate this time around. You can see the full list below –
- LG Nitro
- Motorola ATRIX 2
- Motorola ATRIX 4G
- Pantech Burst
- Pantech Element
- Samsung Captivate Glide
- Samsung Galaxy Note
- Samsung Galaxy S II
- Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket
- Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9
Did you find any surprises in the list? Maybe some of you just let out a huge sigh of relief. Let us know any thoughts or concerns you may have in the comments below.
