AT&T to pick up Pantech 8″ Honeycomb tablet Soon

Pantech maybe a lesser known name in the Android world, and in most other worlds too, there is always a market for a new tablet that works. Pantech is expected to release an 8″ tablet sometime in the first part of 2012 here in the states. After some leaked benchmarks and a device name of P4100 clearing the FCC sporting AT&T LTE bands, we can bet it is the same device.

There hasn’t been too much information available about this device yet. So far we know it is running a version of Honeycomb, has an 8″ screen much like the Vizio Tablet and a resolution of 1024X720p. It is packing a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon processor, HDMI out and a rear facing camera with an LED flash. If the device is landing on AT&T relatively soon, we should be able to take a look at the P4100 at CES. We will definitely keep our eyes peeled.
