Australia and New Zealand get Spotify

Every country around the world has different rules and regulation that are different especially when it comes to digital content and licensing. Google deals with it often with the Play Store and with Play Music. Not all services are available globally to every carrier and country. As irritating as that can be for many, it is life. There is still hope though, Spotify has recently been made available to Australia and New Zealand.

Spotify is a streaming music service that you use free on your PC, and with a subscription to Spotify Premium you can stream to your Android device. It is pretty great service that gives you access to more music than one person will ever listen to in their life time. The price varies slightly between the two locations and the service you are looking for. You can stream unlimited to your PC with ads for free or pay a monthly for ad free listening. On the Android side of things, if you are in Australia you will be looking at $11.99 per month and New Zealand is set at $12.99. They are probably offering up a 30 day trial to get you hooked before you set the payments to pull from your account.

point you PC browser to Spotify.com to get the PC app, which I use all day while I write these things up. You can also snag the latest Android version along with an overview of the service at their Mobile tab.
