@B-boytm Themes out the latest Google Plus 2.0 app, offers Blacked out and Transparent

Our favorite Google app themer, @B-boytm, is still at it. Just a few days ago, Androidpolice released the latest Google Plus 2.0 apk to the world. It offered many new enhancements and a name change for a feature to ‘Chord.’ Many people like the new additions and enhancements, some hated them. Some even couldn’t get it to work. That is not all that surprising since it was a leak from an unreleased OS and device.  It is still fun to give it a go.

B-boytm has taken that apk and worked his themer magic again. I know I love his work and having a themed version of an app helps add a little individuality to your device. So far there is a blacked out version and a transparent version for you to install. It is not without a few bugs here and there. I attribute that to some app issues currently still in G+ 2.0.Be sure to uninstall any and all versions of Google Plus you currently have installed before you give the themed version a shot.

Besides not having a widget, there are 2 issues I’ve found.

1. If you hit the Chord tab from the homescreen and then hit the new huddle icon at the top right and press the text field to start typing what Circle you want to include, it’ll fc after the 2nd letter. I just typed 1 letter, then backed out to make the keyboard hide, pressed the text field again and typed the next letter and it has a pop up that has the circle or whatever you started typing… Then you can add more with no issues.. or just don’t use the search feature works also…

2. In Circles, if you hit the search tab, some letters cause an fc.. not all, but some.. That’s a weird one but I’ll try to have these fixed soon and update the thread… sorry for any inconvenience but it’s a test build anyway so Google will be updating again soon, I’m sure…
