[MIUI Theme] The lockscreen of your dreams, or at least an Ice Cream Sandwich wanna Be

I think I just found my new MIUI lock screen theme. With all craziness that is surrounding the Ice Cream Sandwich OS launch, we all want as much of it on our devices as we can. Since the source hasn’t been released and we don’t have a custom ROM available just yet, we have to make due with what we have. Thankfully we have themers that kick things up a notch when they get a look at what is to come.

XDA themer picard666 aka fodi, has taken a look at all the leaked videos of the upcoming OS and put together a rendition of the lock screen for us MIUI users to utilize. It offers a four point unlock directly into the camera, messaging, phone and home screen. You have access into you r music player by simply double tapping on your clock. What more could you ask for? Well, maybe an ICS ROM but that will all come in good time.

The dev has a few various downloads available. He is on version 2 right now which is the recommended option. V2a has a few issues now and again, but offers a freely moving unlocker instead of a fixed slider. Then you have v2b which removes the battery status from under the clock.

I would recommend you head over to fodi’s XDA thread to get the skinny on all updates and current work being done.As always, the file should download as a mtz. take the file and place it inside the MIUI/Theme folder. You will need to access the Theme application and then select ‘customize’ located at the bottom. Choose Lockscreen to find the newly available ICS theme.
