Bell launches Samsung Galaxy Tab

Bell Canada have officially launched the Samsung Galaxy Tab for $649.99 off contract and while they have just launched this 7-inch beast, they don’t have too many in stock, so if you’re on the prowl, you might want to hit up your local Bell location first.

Features of the Samsung Galaxy Tab include:

  • Android 2.2
  • 7-inch WSVGA enhanced TFT display at 1024X600 resolution
  • TouchWiz UI
  • Cortext A8 1GHz Hummingbird processor
  • rear and front-facing camera

With the launch of Samsung and Bell’s first Android tablet, prices are going to be a little high. Bell is offering the Galaxy Tab on their flex pay plan, but you’ll need to pony up the $650 first and then receive a $50 credit. You must choose between one of two data plans available.

  • 500MB – $20/mo.
  • 5GB – $50/Mo.

You’ll also have the chance to add-on Tablet TV which will run you $10 for 10 hours of use and you’ll be charged $1 for every hour after you hit the 10 hour limit.
