The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is one hot device, but may be slightly large for some users. That is where the latest edition to the Tab line up pick ups with the Galaxy Tab 8.9 version. Offering all the same features and specs, just on a slightly smaller screen size.
I wouldn’t dare lie and say I don’t want one of these sitting on my desk playing movies all day while I work. What I can say though, is I wouldn’t personally buy one of these. Not because the device isn’t amazing. There is one simple fact that would prevent me from buying this device. The price. Here’s why, you are going to pay $469.99 for an 8.9 inch display and 16GB of memory. That makes its screen 2.4 inches smaller than the Tab 10.1. The Tab 10.1 with 16GB Â is currently priced at BestBuy for $499.99. I only save $30 and loose nearly 2.5 inches of viewing space? Doesn’t make much sense to me. I am sure that won’t be the deciding factor for many people looking at picking up this device. Sometimes 10.1 inches is just to big for everyday use.
