There’s a lot going on in Brazil, in case you hadn’t noticed, but it’s not just the World Cup; a Brazilian website has supposedly leaked out the specs for the successor to Motorola‘s Moto X, the Moto X+1. The Motorola Moto X+1 specs allegedly include a 5.2-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 800, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, and 2,900mAh battery. It also includes a 5MP front and 12MP rear camera.
Whether these specs are actually true or the website in question is just speculating, this is pretty much what we would have expected from Motorola’s next flagship device. Although the Snapdragon 800 is a little dated, relative to more recent flagship devices, the original Moto X proved that there is more to Motorola’s handsets than just the spec sheet, offering extremely responsive performance in day-to-day use. Unfortunately, the website hasn’t given the Moto X+1 a price so we can’t say exactly how much the device might cost, though we can probably expect it to come in around the same price as the Moto X. Personally, I’m just hoping they make the Moto X+1 available globally from Day 1 this time.
What do you think about the Motorola Moto X+1 specs? Do you think they are real, and would you consider it if they are? Let us know your thoughts.
