Firefox (Fennec on Android) has been hard at work bringing their browser to the mobile platform. The dedicated work continues to improve month after month even though the application is still in beta and not officially available through the Market. The current build is available to try out here if you wish.
With so much greatness planned for this browser it is no surprise that they could use a little help. Firefox is asking for your help to develop or port over innovative add-ons for the Android and Maemo platforms.
We’re looking for the best example in each of the categories below:
- Sports/Games
- Commerce/ Shopping
- Geo-location
- Productivity
- Sharing/Social
- Novelty/Innovation
With a call out to all developers worldwide, the competition could be stiff. The prizes are worth the risk though.
- $1000 in cash

- Showcased in a Featured Add-ons video distributed across Mozilla channels
- Blog post and Rock your Firefox spotlight
