Check Your Local Flea Market, Someone Picked up a Motorola Olympus

I have heard of people finding priceless art work at garage sales. I have heard of storage units being auctioned off for $300 and having $100,000 worth of things in them. This is right up there with those unique situations. According to a tipster to Gizmodo they located and purchased a Motorola Olympus at a flea market. Sometimes the tips and stories that we receive might be a cover story for where they actually picked something up. In either case they managed to get some photos of the newest unreleased flagship phone headed to AT&T.

If this rumor is real it was quite a find. We can see Android version 2.2 is currently installed on this particular device. Hopefully at launch Gingerbread will be the front runner. There is a front facing camera and HDMI out on the top of the device. The specs that have been acquired so far from other sources point this to be the Olympus. Unfortunately we aren’t able to confirm if the infamous Tegra 2 chip is inside this particular one. I assume this was a prototype version that found its way out completely by accident.

Anyone out there find an amazing deal on a phone or tablet at a garage sale or flea market? I’d love to hear about it. I really need to start going to these things.
