Just a couple of days ago Zinx released the first beta release of CyanongeMOD for the T-Mobile myTouch 4G and we did some benchmarking to see how it performed.  Now we have a reportedly fully functional release of CyanogenMOD v6.2. Even though the T-Mobile myTouch 4G has not made it into the nightly build bots on the CyanogenMOD servers, that hasn’t stopped Zinx from creating another new nightly build of CyanogenMOD for the myTouch 4G / HTC Glacier.
Yes, you are reading this post correctly, this is a nightly build of CyanogenMOD v6.2. I’m hoping this is correct and not a typo as I can only find changelogs for CyanogenMOD going up to version 6.1.1.
Previous known issues where:
* Video does not work with many video players (including youtube)
* LED indicator doesn’t work the way people expect
* Switching to camcorder w/ FFC active force closes
* Toggling bluetooth on/off can cause the phone
Reports are coming in on the XDA forums that most, if not all of the reported issues from the beta release a few nights ago are fixed, and this is now a fully functional version of CyanogenMOD for the myTouch 4G.
I found comments stating these issues are definitely fixed:
- Front Facing Camera is now Working.
- WiFi now working correctly.
- Bluetooth calling is working fine.
Head over to the CyanogenMOD forums to download the latest version
If anyone has any info as to what is in CyanogenMOD v6.2, I’d love to know.
