[Deal Alert] Spirits, a fanciful story of ghostly spirits who need your help getting Home

A new day and a new app on sale. Oh how I love the wonders of the Google Play Store and the wonderful developers we have creating apps and games. Today we got a notification that Spirits by  Spaces of Play was on sale for 50% off.

The game’s story is pretty simple.  The Spirits rise from the fallen leaves in the autumn and you must help guide them to a portal to send them home for the winter. You have to solve puzzles in order to complete the level. This is accomplished in a multitude of ways from using one spirit as a cloud to blow wind in a certain direction to make them float over obstacles and to different platforms. Sacrifice another spirit to build a bridge out of leaves, dig a tunnel or block wind currents in a certain area.

 Each level gets increasingly difficult and using your special abilities in certain spots will be crucial. You have to be mindful of the number of Spirits you have available, your surroundings and the number of Spirits that have to reach the portal in order to complete the level.

 The game graphics are clean and beautiful to look at, the music in the background is very whimsical and enchanting and the simple touch controls are a breeze to get the hang of. Everything about Spirits is a win in our book. That is probably why they have won so many awards for it.
