Developers Claiming Samsung Galaxy S III Mini to be Real??

Rumors are always a fun thing but not always correct or near truth. After invites to a new Samsung press conference surfaced letting people know that “Something small will be really big. Get ready for a little sensation.” sent rumors flying. However aside from that there really has not been anymore talks or evidence to lead anyone to believe that this could be true until today.

Today, NASDAQ  released an email from Trip Chowdhry, the current Managing Director of Equity Research at Global Equities Research. The email talked about how likely it is that  Samsung has been working on the idea and will be announcing the Galaxy S III Mini. Chowdhry also goes on to state “We spoke to 3 Android developers, and they think that the above rumor that Samsung is going to launch a Galaxy S 3 mini is accurate,” Chowdhry wrote. “Looking at the source code of Jelly Bean, a small screen size support looks very plausible, was the converged view we got.”

In my opinion this is far from not being accurate. I personally like big screens but my wife is not a big fan of big screen phones and there is a market of people who are in the same mind frame. Samsung knows this, they know that there 4.8 inch screen may turn some people away from an amazing phone.  That being said a mini would be the next step in capturing that market group.

However a mini to Samsung is a 4.0 inch screen and well there are many 4.0 in Android phones on the market already but this may be a stab at apples  4.0 inch phone ” with a bigger screen than ever before”. I may be wrong but I’m just stating like I see it.
