Although we have yet to see this phone around here a few people have already gotten their hands on it. After trying Z4Root, and Universal ANDRoot, Pachu on XDA figured out the issue. After downloading a driver from the dell website for the venue and installing it on your computer you can use Super One Click Root to gain super user access. According to another use this driver is already located on the SD card for you to copy and install on your computer. Here’s a How-To on rooting this device, and the original thread from XDA. Regardless of the details the deed is done. Nice start on the development of this so far unreleased device. Thanks, Ali.
