Well you knew this would happen. Looks like Facebook Home has leaked out to the public, and you can try it out by downloading three apk files onto your device. Well known developer Paul O’Brien over at MoDaCo, pulled these apks from a pre-released ROM, so do not expect it to work flawlessly. I installed all three on my One S, and could not get Coverfeed, or Chat Heads to work. No disappointment from me though. I just wanted to see if I could get Chat Heads working. Other than that, I am all set.
So if you feel like giving Facebook Home a shot, head over to the MoDaCo page provided in the link down below for the apks. Make sure your phone has a display that is at least 1280×768, and make sure you uninstall your Facebook app. You will have to install the one he has provided for you. Let us know how you guys like it.
UPDATE: I guess even though Paul O’Brien tried to change the security keys on the apks, you will not be able to get Coverfeed to work on the homescreen. Everyone has been reporting a black background.
