So here it is, the myTouch coming soon to T-Mobile. The device you see here is just a hardware prototype and unfortunately we can’t get a look at what UI this device will be running, although we would assume that this will feature the same Espresso UI as the myTouch 3G Slide.
Features of the T-Mobile myTouch include:
- Android 2.2
- HSPA+
- 3.8-ich WVGA display
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz MSM8255 processor
- 5-megapixel camera
- LED flash
- 720p HD recording
- front-facing camera
- 3.5mm audio jack
- Micro USB port
- Micro SD port expandable up to 32GB
- virtual keyboard and Swype on board
- Features preloaded HD games including Rock Band, Asphalt 5 and Monopoly which sticks in line with T-Mobile launching premiere devices with extras on board
- Preinstalled 8 GB memory
This device will come as T-Mobile’s 2nd HSPA+ device following the T-Mobile G2 and will feature a front-facing camera, which some of us are curious why that feature would be left out on the T-Mobile G2 being that it’s the first HSPA+ device, but back to the myTouch.
We’re still curious to see what UI this device will be rockin’, but we must admit that this device looks better and better each time we look at it. More images can be found below along with a couple comparing it to the myTouch 3G Slide. Enjoy!
Most likely we’ll see this sometime early next month and around the usual $199 price for smartphones after incentives, of course. So, now that we finally get to see the physical features of the T-Mobile myTouch, is this device that is willing to make you bite or are you holding out for something more? Let us know in the comments below.
