Finally we can actually see some clear video of the Sony Ericsson PlayStation phone.  No longer are we left wondering what we just saw in a fuzzy video clip. The actual name of this device is still somewhat of a mystery. We’ve heard everything from Sony Ericsson Z, Z1, Zeus and just Playstation phone.  If you look at the video, they ROM names the device as the Zeus, but this coul dbe just a prototype name and not the final one. No matter what you want to call it, the device itself looks pretty slick, if not a bit thick to carry around in your pant pocket as an everyday device. We also get to see the Android OS version currently running is Gingerbread.
We’re pretty intrigued by the device concept. Get rid of the slide out keyboard and put in game controls. I don’t know why this idea didn’t surface before now. Either way, take a look at the videos below and let us know what you think.
