Just hours after packaging for the device was allegedly spotted, here is our first look at the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 in the flesh. Samsung hinted earlier this year that their next Galaxy Note device would adopt a ‘new form factor’; whatever that meant, it doesn’t appear to have drastically changed the device overall, but we do see the same chamfered metallic edges that have been recently adopted by the Galaxy Alpha. As expected, the Note 4 has quite a few hallmarks of its smaller brother, the Galaxy S5, including what looks like the same heart rate sensor and USB 3.0 slot in the base. Naturally, the Note 4 looks like it will also have a S-Pen. From the new, more rectangular design of the Note 4 and Galaxy Alpha, it looks like Samsung is happy taking this new design ideology forward.
We’ve heard rumours that the screen of the Note 4 is going to be a 5.7-inch, Quad HD display and that it’s going to house either the new Exynos 5433 or Snapdragon 805 processor (depending on your region). We won’t have long to wait to find out the truth though as the Samsung UNPACKED event it is expected to be announced at is happening on September 3rd at IFA 2014.
