If you’ve been scouring the Internet for any trace of the HTC One M9 in the last 24 hours, you will have seen the HTC One M9 videos that were leaked out earlier today. Plenty of discussions have ensued arguing whether this will be the device that HTC unveils at MWC 2015, and while the consensus is a tentative ‘yes’, it seems a former HTC executive has seemingly confirmed the authenticity of the videos. Leigh Momii, former HTC product manager, who famously had a go at @evleaks when he leaked something regarding the HTC One M8 Prime last year, has responded to the posting of the leaked promo videos:
the whole cat is out of the bag…no surprise there…i’ll probably get the gunmetal/black m9 🙂

As well as staking her claim for which coloured variant she’s going to get, Momii, who now works for Cyanogen, goes on to reply that HTC has been working behind the scenes to plug these kinds of leaks, but obviously to no avail, adding that “they need to hire more people just for that”. Still, there’s still lots to find out about the device come March 1st, even if we know what it looks like.
