This is some good news for us Galaxy S owners, although it does come with a price. The latest Skype update will work on all Samsung Galaxy S devices as long as you are running Android 2.2. Not the news we were all hoping for. Still though, it is progress in the right direction. Now we just need Samsung and our carriers to get us all on Android 2.2.
On the other hand, if you happen to be rooted and running one of the amazing 2.2 ROMs from developers like Team Whiskey or Eugene_373, then feel free to go pick up and start using your Skype service on the go finally.
I did test this out on my rooted Vibrant and was pleasantly surprised when it let me sign in and use it finally.
