Gameloft finally launches N.O.V.A. 3, get your killing On
The majority of the day didn’t bring anything all that wonderful to the Android table. That all changed a few hours ago when we received this wonderful little press email letting us know that N.O.V.A. 3 by Gameloft had been released to the Play Store. Some of you might have been waiting for this game, I know we have. It it the third installation of the N.O.V.A. series and probably the best one so far. They bring back the muliplayer aspect like never before. Allowing up to 12 players at a time on 6 different maps and tossing in some vehicles for good measure. The graphics look beautiful and the game play looks amazing. Did you see the trailer we shared at the beginning of the month? If not, here it is again along with a few game play images.

See, told you it looks sweet. According to comments from the Play Store it i running smooth and is optimized for the Xperia Play, but it seems it isn’t compatible with the HTC EVO 4G LTE. Hopefully that gets resolved soon. There seems to be a few contradicting things though. We saw some sort of credit earning/pay ability to customize your characters in the trailer. We fully expected it to be a free game with in app purchases and such. In the Play Store description Gameloft even says, “ For fans of the N.O.V.A. series, first-person shooters, and free android games.” There is nothing free about this game though, it will set you back $6.99. Interesting twist wouldn’t you say? Maybe they plan to drop just the multiplayer portion later as a free edition with purchasable extras. That would be pretty cool really.
