Us poor T-Mobile customers. We waited forever for T-Mobile to finally bring us the Samsung Galaxy Note. Only to have it yanked away a little over a month after it was released. We speculated that T-Mobile was going to be moving on to the Note II instead and wanted to get the inventory for the first generation out of the warehouse and kill it off. Seems the stars are aligning and the gods are happy. We hope.
A new set of information has popped up that leads us, and Tmonews, to believe that the Note II is indeed coming to T-mobile. A screenshot of a SGH-T889 rocking Jelly bean 4.1.1 has magically appeared as they always do. Also, the User Agent data has poked its head out for just a second. All listing the same information. The device name lines up a little better than the recent AT&T potential name. The original Note for T-Mobile was the SGH-T879, so the SGH-T889 is a feasible jump. The screen resolution is also coming up as the same as the Note II.
Tmonews is being told that the Note II for
T-Mobile will also retain the Exynos processor and run on their HSPA+ 42Mbps network. That little bit of information is enough for me to hold off on a Galaxy S III and see when the Note II will finally be launched. We know it took almost a year for T-Mobile to get the last one out, but with Samsung aiming to dominate the market, we fully expect to see it land before the end of November. That is strictly speculation, hopes and dreams though.
We will keep this listed as a rumor for now, but the puzzle piece sure are starting to paint a bbeautiful picture of a Galaxy Note II for T-Mobile some time soon.
