Not 15 minutes after we publish the story for the new updates headed to the Google+ web-based service does Google push an update to the app in the market. The Most recent update should come as no surprise to many. With the web version getting so much love in the photo department it was only fitting that the Android app got some love for it too.
You can look forward to a new design of the photo albums view and People suggestions when composing a Messenger conversation. The most wondrous feature added that has been desired for an extremely long time is the ability to start a Hangout from your device from a Messenger conversation. That is going to make life amazing on the go. Check out the full list of additions below-
What’s in this version:
- Start a hangout from a Messenger conversation
- New design of the photos album view
- People suggestions when composing a Messenger conversation
- New icons to show which photos have been uploaded to Google+ via Instant Upload
- Ability to leave one-to-one Messenger conversations
- Bug fixes
Now, if I just had a phone with a front facing camera I would be all set. Pop into your My Apps section of the market and pick up the update now. If you for some odd reason uninstalled the app, you can pick it up below by clicking or scanning the QR code. Happy Plusing.
