Google has released another update to Google Maps for Android. The main focus in this update appears to be Google places and Google Latitude, which will help you connect the people you care about with the places you love, in their words.
- Post your reviews of places to Twitter.
- Ping latitude friends to ask them to check in. Friends will get a check-in request from you.
- Search for a place to check in from Latitude if it’s not in the suggested list.
- “Explore Nearby” from the Places menu to find the nearest places.
