Google Maps just put out a new update to the Maps application in the Android Market. The newest additions aren’t major but sure are useful. Taking a look at the image you can see we can now filter by ‘What’s open Now’ Â in the neighborhood or by related searches. Also, you have access to the latest review section of Places Pages from around the web and fellow Google users.
I don’t know about you but the ‘What’s open now’ integration makes me smile. I can’t count on 2 hands how many times I’ve found somewhere to go and drove there only to find out they are closed.
