Google Play Hits 25 Billion Downloads, We All Celebrate

Some time ago, Google was celebrating 10 billion downloads from the Play Store and as a celebration, they offered some of the best games and apps for just $0.10 each. Now, Google just announced that they hit 25 billion downloads and that they will be offering games and apps for just 25 cents, also 25 books, 25 albums, 25 magazines and 25 movies at special prices. Which ones? we don’t know yet, but that’s part of the fun, right? We will be gathering up all the apps and everything else through out the day. So keep your eyes peeled for updates.

To put some perspective, Apple’s App Store took 15 months to go from 10 billion to 25 billion. It took the Play Store only 9 months.
