15 years ago, a small little company set out to achieve the impossible. To be the number 1 search tool on the internet, where the very name of it would actually be used as a verb for searching. Okay, maybe they did not expect people to start saying, “just Google it,” but it is rather crazy how that is such an excepted term in our language.
To celebrate 15 years of success, Google updated Google Search for iOS users to user voice commands. If you use iOS, your  app was updated and now you can use that phrase, “OK Google,” to access voice commands. Another feature is cross-platform notification and reminder sync. So if you do a search or set a reminder on your Android device for something, you will be able to access that information on you iOS device as well. Looks like Google is trying to bring us all together in perfect harmony.
Another little treat Google has given us today is, if you go over to Google right now and type in “Google in 1998”, you will get results in the format that Google started with. So go check it out and add some nostalgia to your day.
