HTC makes a new friend, Dropbox to offer 5GB of storage to all future HTC Devices

No one likes bloatware. You know, those apps that carriers and manufacturers pre-install on your device for you. The ones that take up extra space and fill your app drawer with useless crap you never use or wanted. Although, some bloatware can be beneficial and HTC is stepping up its game to offer one application that you probably already use.

HTC has partnered up with Dropbox for all future handsets made by the company. They will include a free 5GB account versus the current 2GB account that you can currently get without spending any extra money. There is no word on if current devices will get some sort of OTA to offer this in the future or not, but this is supposed to be headed towards all Sense 3.5 devices. We will have to wait and see if they show a little love to the Sense 3.0 devices later.

It really doesn’t matter if you hate bloatware or not, I couldn’t live with out my Dropbox account. How many of you already have a Dropbox account? Or have you moved on to bigger and better things like Minus?

Application: Dropbox
Developer: Dropbox, Inc.
