Hey Android devs, are you ready to do what you do best? Earlier today, HTC dropped the source codes for two devices — the Desire S and various international versions of the Sensation XL. What exactly does this mean? Well, for the every day Average Joe, this isn’t going to do a whole lot; however, if you’re an Android developer, this is the type of stuff that makes you drool.
Typically, after a devices source code is made public, it’s only a matter of time before awesome custom ROMs start flooding the scene. And with Ice Cream Sandwich projects popping up everywhere you look, I’d be surprised if we don’t see some news regarding these devices. If you’d like to do some toying with the code, hit the source link below. If you own a Desire S or a Sensation XL, have faith, my friend — good things are on the horizon.
