For me, HTC‘s marketing over the years is pretty hit-and-miss. Some attempts like the Serious Technical Considerations videos were on point and entertaining, while some like its “Here’s to change” ads left a little more to desire. A tweet that has been posted on the HTC USA Twitter page falls somewhere between as they try and stay cryptic about their future releases. Specifically, the tweet starts with “Something HUGE is coming from HTC”, which suggests they could be referring to the HTC One M9 Plus that is rumoured to be announced at HTC’s March 1st press conference at MWC 2015.
Something HUGE is coming from HTC. Imagine [number][big thing] in space. And then [math term] that by [number]. #Madlib

We can’t think of too many other things HTC could be referring to, and we can only assume “HUGE” is a literal reference rather than cryptic as well. It’s important to note that HTC didn’t specify a date for this release of product, so it’s entirely possible that this has nothing to do with their MWC presentation. Then again, maybe it could. Only time will tell if HTC actually has something “HUGE” to announce com March 1st. It’s also worth nothing this isn’t the first cryptic tweet HTC has made in the past week with this gem featuring as well:
Imagine [number] dinosaurs that grew to the size of a [big thing]. Multiply that by [number] and you have what’s coming from HTC. #Madlib
