HTC’s answer to the quad-core race, the Quatro, to be unveiled at Mobile World Congress

It seems like just yesterday that the world was getting all worked up for dual-core tablets and devices. Now we are already moving past a chip that we still haven’t fully tapped into, up the line to quad-core. We know the Transformer Prime is slated to be the first Tegra 3 chipped device, with Lenovo hot on their heels. We knew other manufacturers wouldn’t be to far behind. We got wind of the HTC Edge earlier last week, promising to be the first quad-core handset from them, now we have confirmed info on their tablet ventures. unveiled

Even though HTC makes some great solid products, their line of tablets have yet to really take of. The Flyer and the Jetstream are nice, but not overly impressive. A source at Androidguys, has confirmed rumors of their next tablet installment though. With out any leaked specs to sink our teeth into just yet, we do know that it will be a quad-core device and code-named the Quatro. Who comes up with these code names anyways? With confirmation that it will be displayed for the world in February at Mobile World Congress. The tablet should also, and it better, be packing in some Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Could this finally be the tablet that we have all been waiting for HTC to make, or are we going to be in for another let down? I guess we will all have to wait a few months to find out.
