Back in September we heard about
Huawei‘s new device labeled the Honor. With reports of having the
longest lasting battery of any Android device ever. They said it would last 3 days. That is a pretty big claim to fill. The Honor is supposed to have 16M 16:9 true color high-definition on a 4″ FWVGA capacitive touch
screen display, a 1.4 GHz processor, an 8-
megapixel HDR -enabledÂ
camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. To top it off, Huawei has also included
Android 2.3.5 and a 1,900mAh battery. Which is actually slightly larger than the one found in the Galaxy Nexus, or so I have read. We have seen that the
Galaxy Nexus, even with it’s high-end screen at 4.65″ is actually pretty darn good. So it is not to far of a leap to believe the claims of a similar sized battery on a 4″ screen being fairly accurate.
Today we received a press release that lets us see some more pictures of the device along with the 6 colors that are scheduled to be shipped out in December. Glossy Black, Textured Black, Elegant White, Vibrant Yellow, Cherry Blossom Pink and Burgundy (specific color availability may differ between markets). The device will be shipping to Russia, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan and China from December, with other markets to follow. So us U.S. residence will have to either get one shipped in or wait and see if any of our carriers have any interest in it.
