This morning I had the pleasure of testing out one of the hottest games on the Android Market. Inertia: Escape Velocity, from Red Fly Studio, Inc, is a 3D side-to-side platform game that lets you defy gravity. In the game, you are Hermes, a high-tech scavenger who can turn his personal gravity on and off at will. Your mission is to channel your Inertia to leap, hover, bounce, float, and zoom your way through over 35 levels of gameplay. You’ll meet a barrage of deadly obstacles and intriguing challenges on your journey, so make sure to pack a lunch.
Graphics for mobile gaming have become increasingly more beautiful, and Inertia is no exception. The game boasts beautiful 3D graphics, smooth gameplay, and a comprehensive story line that will keep you coming back for more. There’s also support for OpenFeint, so you’ll be able to unlock achievements and be able to compete against other players from around the world.
There are two different versions of Inertia: Escape Velocity. One is optimized for being played on phones, and there’s an HD version for tablets. There are also trial and full versions of both games, so you can test it to make sure you like it before committing.
Below is a link to the paid HD version of the game. If you’d like to try the phone or trial versions, make sure to hit the developer link below to visit their page on the Android Market. Happy jumping!
