In the development community, we expect the latest Android OS on Android devices that haven’t received an update yet or devices aren’t supposed to support the latest OS. Cyanogen has stated that he is going to have Android 2.2 running on all kinds of Android devices soon with CM6. We’ve heard before of Android 2.1 on the iPhone 3G and 3GS, now we can say we’ve heard Android 2.2 on this iPhone 3G, as well. While there are no instructions and downloads yet, keep an eye on iPhoDroid. I can almost feel the anger radiate through my laptop as the news of this hits you in the soul. iPosers rejoice!
