This semi-hidden document above shows that Verizon may be getting ready to unleash the Froyo beast on the Droid X any day now. As you can see, the above page was last modified on September 10th, which gives us a little more hope that the update could be soon. The above document doesn’t shed light on any dates, but this is the first document with any mention of Android 2.2 for the Droid X.
We’ll just have to wait and see when Verizon starts rolling out Android 2.2 for the DX and hopefully it comes sooner than later.
