I know you are all waiting for the update to land for you wickedly amazing Samsung Galaxy S III that brings it up to
Jelly Bean. There have been numerous leaks for various carry branded version of the device over the last few weeks. Some reports for the likes of the
T-Mobile Galaxy S III leak are saying it is nearly perfect. Samsung has recently just added a list of devices to their site that lists Jelly Bean updates. Sticking to the Galaxy Nexus, Nexus S 4G and the Galaxy S III carrier version. We know the Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S 4G all have Jelly Bean, so that just leaves the S III.
Samsung, Google and the carrier partners are working together to upgrade devices to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean as quickly and as smoothly as possible. Specific models that will receive the Jelly Bean update include the following devices. Specific timing for the availability of the Jelly Bean update for Galaxy S III in the U.S. has not been announced.
Sadly there isn’t a time line of any sort being listed for any of the carrier branded models. At least a statement of “Coming Soon!’ is by all of them though. With all the action we have seen throughout the last few weeks though, we can only hope that the updates start to hit our phones soon.
Do you think it will start being pushed out before or after the Galaxy Note II launch?
