If I were a hotly anticipated LG curved smartphone, where would I want to show up? Well, the answer is apparently Argentina as the unannounced LG G Flex has been spotted hanging out at Telefe Noticias, a Argentinian news program. The photo, which comes courtesy of journalist Frederico Ini, shows the G Flex in most of its curved glory and although the photo shows very little, you can faintly make out the back of the G Flex which appears to house rear volume buttons, much like the recently launched LG G2.
The LG G Flex is expected to be announced next month and is rumoured to possess a whopping 6-inch curved display. Its release will put it in a head-to-head battle with Samsung’s own curved smartphone, the Galaxy Round, though if our entirely (read: somewhat) scientific poll suggests anything, it looks like the G Flex may have a small advantage on looks alone.
We’ll have to hold off full judgement till LG announces the device and gives us some more concrete details about it, but the curved smartphone space is looking to be heating up, though, we are still wondering how the G Flex is going to fit in our pockets…
